EU 14 Major Food Allergens

The 14 allergens are:

• celery
• cereals containing gluten – including wheat, rye, barley and oats
• crustaceans – such as prawns, crabs and lobsters
• eggs
• fish
• lupin
• milk
• molluscs – such as mussels and oysters
• mustard
• tree nuts – including almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts
• peanuts
• sesame seeds
• soybeans
• sulphur dioxide and sulphites (if at a concentration of more than ten parts per million)

Since the normal iMenuPro symbol options allow only 3 symbols per item, you can use the method below to add any number of symbols to an item by setting the Extras field to use the built-in SoftCafe Symbol font:

1. Under Fonts > Extras... select the font SoftCafe Symbols and set it to whatever size and color you want the symbols to be.
2. Use the key chart below to copy the symbol you want to the clipboard and paste that into the Extras field for your food item. (It will appear as a text character in the Extras field but a symbol on your menu.)

4. If you want to keep the Symbol font on Extras while flipping through Menu Styles use Tools > iMenuPro App Settings > Keep design changes when switching Styles
