Duplicate Items

There may be times when you want an identical (or nearly identical) item on the menu in two or more places.

Any Food Item or Menu Heading can only be added at a single spot on menu, so for duplicate items you'll need to add the item into the food list or heading list twice. (Use the Edit > New food item or Edit > New menu heading commands to add items to the lists.)

For food items, to tell the item apart in the list itself, you can 'categorize' them, using either the food item's Note field or the Category Labeler add-on.

Having duplicate items can also help, if you have different prices for the same item on different menus or make menus for multiple locations that may have slight variations.

To clone an item, you can use the Clone food item command (right-click a food item in the list) to create a new food item with the cloned item's text.
